Simplified Service Plan: Preventative Maintenance for Your HVAC System
Chances are you’ve already adjusted your thermostat this season. Whether to bring in a little heat on those cooler mornings or cool things down as the weather warms up. And, chances are, you did so with mild apprehension. We hear it all the time: the nervousness of turning on your HVAC system after months of not using it. There’s no magic trick required before switching between heating and cooling; nevertheless, many homeowners feel a bit uneasy.
At Charlotte Mechanical, we have a simple answer to these seasonal worries: the Simplified Service Plan (SSP). The SSP is a preventative HVAC maintenance program that provides you with a detailed report on the current condition of your system. As you know, these systems contain many small, inexpensive parts that control larger and much more costly components. A preventative maintenance plan can save you hundreds — even thousands — of dollars by identifying issues early, preventing breakdowns, and minimizing inconvenience.
What does the simplified service plan include? Our SSP (simplified service plan) includes two cleanings per year (one in the fall/winter and one in the spring/summer), a 10% discount on all repairs, priority scheduling, reduced service call rate ($30 off), and The SSP Loyalty Discount, which is $100 off of a new system purchased from Charlotte Mechanical for every year of consecutive SSP renewal.
If you’re still unsure about the value of a maintenance plan, consider these five reasons:
Peace of mind.
Whether it’s a chilly winter night or a sweltering summer afternoon, rest easy knowing your system has been inspected, serviced, and optimized by a Charlotte Mechanical HVAC professional.
Forewarning.
With the SSP, homeowners receive early notice of any potential issues that may exist within the system. Even if it’s functioning fine at the moment, knowing that a repair may be needed within the next year can help you plan and budget effectively.
Responsibility.
Routine maintenance checks can uncover small issues that are often inexpensive to fix. Left unchecked, those same issues can lead to more extensive and costly repairs down the road.
Air quality.
Not all maintenance plans are created equally. Unlike most companies, Charlotte Mechanical cleans both the evaporator (indoor) coil and the condenser (outdoor) coil. Dust and allergens that clog air filters also collect on blower motors and coils — and not cleaning them can compromise your home’s air quality.
Efficiency.
A clean, well-maintained HVAC system runs more efficiently. Dirt buildup on coils, blower wheels, and filters causes performance to drop. While the effects might seem minor month to month, over time they can significantly increase your energy costs. We strongly believe that our Simplified Service Plan pays for itself through reduced repair costs and extended equipment lifespan. Plus, we pride ourselves on offering customized maintenance solutions for every customer we serve. If you’d like to learn more about the services included in the SSP or to schedule your first appointment, click the Schedule Now button in the top right corner.
